Terrible sleep last night. It turns out that going to bed with a gut full of spicy tuna and tempura batter is not conducive to a quality nap. What seemed like an imminent vomit awoke me from my slumber at about 3 am. I talked the food back down and we made an agreement that it could instead become toxic gas. It held up its end of the bargain and this morning I considered burning my underwear, the sheets and the house. Yikes!
So have I learned my lesson about gorging? Doubt it. Brought me such glee when I won the Red Lobster shrimp eating contest of ‘06 that I’ll never back down from eating endless anything. And while I’d like to someday know what it feels like to be a boobless man, it’s clear that I stand little chance at a contest of any other sort, so fuck it.
Let’s see, today we went to a couple of landscape places, picked up some carrots, saw a new horse baby, checked in on Kat’s horse, went to opening day at the race track, made a stop at Canadian Tire, BBQ’d dinner and I watched Smokin’ Aces. While outside at one point I heard some young girls making a ruckus. Kat said they were having a car wash in a parking lot near by. If you’ve seen any of the “Bikini Carwash Company” movies you’ll agree that they’re bullshit as that kinda thing just doesn’t happen in real life.
I drove by later on to see that it was a group of 13-15 year old girls and boys. I rushed home and covered the car in poop and pudding then stopped in for a wash and an eyeful, but I didn’t feel good about it.
