Alarm went off at 7:30 am and I snoozed ’till 9:30. There’s the behaviour of someone ready to die.
Short day of work followed by food. All-you-can-eat Sushi at Real Sushi in St. Catharines. Ate enough food to render me partially blind. Three “green dragons,” 30 rolls, 1 plate of battered something and a bowl of ice cream. Oh, and I did something special. This is a possible indicator that Chris Hickey’s bang on with his theory that I have a dangerous eating problem. I was brought a plate of food that I didn’t order, that didn’t look appealing and that I wasn’t particularly interested in. I talked myself into it and devoured the whole thing. Chris: It’s time for you to intervene and cement my mouth shut as we discussed.
Just got back from walking the dogs. Came around a corner and saw a dude driving across the grassy median in his truck. Saw him pull into a driveway, grab something from the house and speed off. About 2 years ago I was walking the dogs past this house and found a wallet on the ground. Picked it up and checked the ID inside and found it was from one of the kids that lived at this address. Didn’t even hesitate. I took the wallet to the door and went to ring the bell. It was 1:30 am so I decided I’d just leave it in the mailbox.
As I got home and laid my fat head to rest, I congratulated myself for not even considering checking the wallet for cash. I assume the postman was less considerate and yanked the 40 bucks to buy dope. Were I a less straight-laced guy, I’d have taken the money and bought 3 Big Mac’s, a turkey sub, a jar of peanut butter, a brick of chocolate and a tub of marshmallow bananas. Am I alone here? For the love of God, I better be.
Save yourselves, people. Save yourselves.
