Another Valentine’s Day come and gone. A delicious meal at MT Bellies and a Hugh Grant movie – what more does one need? So it was 10 years ago that Kat and I first met. I believe it was actually Feb. 15th and not the 16th as my memory tells me it was a Saturday, Feb. 15th, 1997 birthday party for Shaun at The Barrel that started things off. Who would have guessed that we’d still be together? The “it couple” hysteria that we created in the late 90’s has since died down a tad, but someday we’ll make headlines again. ...

Off work today… cuz I’m a gangsta ( read “lazy”). Kat got a call from work late this morning that some horse had issues and it’s foal died. All I know is that Kat was asked to take the deadling to Guelph for an autopsy(?). My first concern was exactly how the transport would take place. Kat said she’d take her Escape and put him in the back. Knowing Kat too well, I first assumed that she’d buckle him into the front seat and prop him up so he could look out the window. Figured she might also get him a small chocolate milk at Tim Horton’s and some sunglasses from the dollar store so the sun wouldn’t hurt his eyes. Kat tells me each night she’d rather have married a horse. ...

Dentist appointment this morning went okay (read last night’s post for more). Got a metal filling put back in. Drilling the white one out hurt more than watching Girdy dance, but I sucked it up. Hell, after I heard the doc mutter “n/c” signifying there’d be no charge, they coulda taken my pants off and drilled my taint. This Barnhardt likes his free. But is the pain actually gone for good? Barnhardt has his doubts. ...

So it seems like all of my “friends” have been bit by the blogging bug. Never one inclined to do anything original, why not throw in my 2 cents while the videos have dried up… Try as I might, I can’t get my mind off work. I think about it while I’m driving. I think about it while I’m tossing in bed. Oddly enough the only place I don’t think about it is at work. That’s when I think of a pumpkin pie eating me! ...

When you’re hanging out with the Carolan’s shooting GMA videos and you suddenly decide to put a damper on things by announcing your forthcoming departure, you’d better be fully aware that you will, in fact, be ridiculed for it. ENJOY!

What’s going on… Dan Z is rebuilding the dream house while Mel looks for a new job. Andrew’s starting work at Woodbine next month while Autumn also looks for a new job. Kyle recently won some cash at poker while Jenny is FortErieDAVE!’s biggest fan. Beth has yet to return to the WWE while Joe spends most nights trying to blow himself. And word on the street is that Fort Erie Shaun and Fort Erie Pat will be moving to St. Catharines. The only question I have is where you gonna be living and is your bathroom big enough for me to collapse in? ...

This video could go by so many titles. I can best sum it up by saying that this is what happens when you get not 1 or 2, but all 3 Carolan brothers working together on a video. Furthermore, watching this video will give you a good idea of what it’s like to be friends with these people. It’s often hilarious, occasionally disturbing and undeniably entertaining, as long as you can endure it. ...
