It’s from the first episode of Heroes that I rewatched a couple days ago. A catchy tune, though certainly a downer of a melody. Probably means it didn’t take long to write. I find it takes very little energy to be miserable. It’s pleasantness that’ll wear you out. Of course, you do feel better after venting some negativity. After I squeeze out a smile and a giggle all I want to do is watch you get your shoelace caught in an escalator.
And speaking of negativity, I must mention Chris Hickey. You see, he’s this monster of a human being – height of a hobit and girth of a train. He’s got what you might call a bit of a weight problem. I think he may be well on his way to hitting rock bottom after a voicemail I received from him today. I call this chapter one:
Anyway, I’m sure he’ll be fine. Though historically he’s appreciated getting some airtime here, I suspect he’ll be taking a bat to my head when we next cross paths.
I hope the bat is covered in toasted bagels with cream cheese.
