So after work last night I headed over to Southside’s to meet up with some of the old crew from high school. Spent a few hours reminiscing about the past and catching up on what’s transpired in the 12 years since graduation. Great to see Luc, Kevin Dwyer, Kevin Beam, Adam and Allison.

Later on I strapped my fat ass into a child’s seat and we headed over to the Barnea, home of the World famous “Here, take a look at my dick” washroom. We headed out to the patio where I was introduced to Adam’s younger sister and Luc introduced me to a Grade A secret pissing area. Few more hours of drinking then a little apartment booze to wrap things up. Item #1 on my To Do list: Hang out with these crazy fuckers more often …

… but make sure I don’t have to work the next day!

Kind of a rough morning, but I rolled with the punches and showed up to work 4 hours late and left 2 hours early. Damn it feels good to be a gangster.

Actually it didn’t feel good at all. It really didn’t. But I’ve recovered. Only took a large coffee, a bagel, a Snickers, a Greek salad, some soup, two burritos, some chips, some macaroni salad, a Diet Coke and a few bottles of water to get myself back to feeling normal. And by normal I mean wheezy breaths punctuated by an occasional shooting pain in my chest. I’m sure I’ll be fine.

Oh, one more thing about last night. I was reminded of the after-prom party of ‘94, the first time I’d partied with these guys. This also marked the first time that sweet, sweet alcohol ever touched my lips. As you can see from the pictures below, I’m a mess of a human being.

Picture 1 - “SYLVIA!”

Told Sylvia I’d see her after the prom, but I didn’t know her room number. So I started dialing random numbers. When the person who answered wasn’t Sylvia or didn’t know anyone by that name, I hung up on them. Miraculously I think I found her after only a few calls. When she did show up, I’m quite certain the glare from the stretch marks peaking through the holes in my shirt sent her packing.

Picture 2 - “Nappy Time!”

The fat man was done in by a hefty helping of Kahlua and Southern Comfort (not together). Kahlua would remain my drink of choice for several years until I discovered rye with whom my love affair continues to blossom.
