So it’s been a busy May. This is the 23rd post I’ve made, and it will be my last for this month.
Got home late last night after a long day at work. Consumed well over a thousand calories for dinner while sitting in my car, then continued on home.

Last night kicked off my BLT diet. Here’s the deal: Back in ‘97 I would end virtually every day with a delicious BLT sub from Avonmart (sometimes two!). Because they were good? No. Because they were $2.99. Well, the price has skyrocketed to $4.49, but it’s still less than Subway or Quizno’s.
For less than five bucks, you get a decent quantity of the finest 3-day-old bacon a convenience store has to offer. Mayonnaise is applied liberally. But the best part is watching the sub maker burn their fingers on freshly-nuked pig fat. Makes the meal so much tastier.
Anyway, the motivation behind this movement is that I was 36% less of a miserable human being 10 years ago. Let’s see if I can’t bring the ‘97 me back using food. The logic is questionable, but my stomach tells me to give it a shot.
So I’m about 1 1/2 hours away from sub #2. I’ll get home and watch a bit of TV, then to bed. Where’s the exercise you ask? In my mind, my friends. In my mind…
EDIT: Decided to forego the sub. Seems this is yet another diet I can’t stick to. Next attempt: PUDDING DIET!!
