Another glorious day in Barnhardtland, highlighted by a visit by Canada’s own Chris Hickey at the office. He fed me foul smelling yet delightful tasting candies and sent me off with only the best of wishes. Really an otherwise uneventful day which I choose to end now. Good day and good luck! Woke up this morning at 4:30 am. I remember a time not so long ago when we’d just be getting home at that time, but I digress. Made it to work for 8 am. I don’t often see the Woodbine at that time of day. It’s a magical place where light bulbs give off a powerful vanilla aroma and door knobs are filled with heavy cream. Actually it’s no different from later on in the day except elves in blue shirts and khakis are washing dishes and cleaning Barnhardt stains off the floors. Got up at 7 this morning to go shoot a horse… show. Pictures that is. But interrupt sleep so early on a Sunday morning? That hurt. Man, it was one of those fabulous sleeps too. Just the right temperature and the sheets were soft as a kitten’s whisper. But that, much like my brief foray into vegetarianism, had to come to an end. Headed out to Fonthill and took some pics. Forgot my damn sunscreen and ended up getting a little crispy. Whadda ya gonna do? Headed home around 5. ...
Yesterday was uneventful. I worked. I didn’t eat any Baconators. I came home. Today we got up, grabbed a coffee and headed to the lawn & garden store. Picked up some crushed stone to complete the patio stones. From there we stopped to get my Mom and headed over to see the horse (since I only own one horse and don’t feel right calling him any name, I’m going with “the horse”). ...
Woke up at 6:30 today and got down to business. Stopped at the tack shop on the way into work to get a fly mask for Zed (I’ve shortened “Ziggy Piggy” to “Zed” for now as I pursue a less gay and more that-guy-who-raped-Marcellus appeal to the big horse). Got the jumbo size. It should fit well. Time flew by at work and I headed home. Another sweet ride on the 407. I’m loving it! ...
So last night we went to see Big Foot (the horse). Kat took the opportunity to take a picture of my gut and man jugs. He stretched his legs, ran around and did some good bucking. The air beetles got to us all. We presented him his new halter and called it a night. Probably will see him again later this week. Got off to work in good time this morning and had a smooth drive in. I’ve decided to pick up a transponder for the 407 as after 8 1/2 years I’m finally gonna try to curb my insanity. Took it home the past two days and already find myself kicking the kitty and throwing the C bomb at the dogs a little less. ...
So I bought a horse. Well, we bought a horse, but we’re calling it mine. Kat has wanted him for months because she has a love affair going with him. I thought it’d be cool because he’s simply massive. I’ve always been a fan of Andre the Giant. I always Biggie Size my meals. Now I’ve got an upsized horse. Will I ride it? Yes. Will it kill me? Just finished watching Beth’s re-debut on RAW a few moments ago. Glad to see her back in action!! Will this allow Joe to quit his job at Toys ‘R Us? And retreat to an existence in which he’s not surrounded by Transformers and wrestling toys? Whadda you think?! I’ll get the video of this up ASAP.
