Wow.
As you may’ve noticed, I’ve been away for awhile. The last photo gallery I put up was from the trip Kat and I took to Ottawa and Quebec back in February. Then I took the site down. Put up stuff now and then, but not until I got some vacation time could I redo it properly.
And here we are now.
I’ve just finished two weeks of going crazy on the site. Work started with the visual design. I wrapped the look around the photo gallery. The code for the gallery needed tweaking to work right with the videos. No problem. Then I set up a Wordpress theme to match the gallery. All that took about 10 days with holiday obligations interspersed. I’m sure you don’t care.
Then came the opening video for the front page which I dreamed up about 3 weeks ago. The songs came to me first. “Mad World” by Gary Jules that I first heard in the Gears of War Trailer.
The Superman song came a bit from having seen Superman Returns earlier this year, but also from the Seinfeld montage that was done to the same song.
I’ve spent more time working on the video than I have with my wife. She may or may not have left me – I haven’t had time to check.
It may be my best work yet. It’s not perfect. There are some glitches, but please, enjoy it again.

So you’ll see that the site looks quite a bit different, but all the old content is here along with some new stuff. Check out the Videos area where I’ve put up all videos that ever touched the old site, though there’s more to come. I’ve redone the Calgary photo gallery with better quality pics.
You’ll see that the categories in the photo gallery have been rearranged to make more sense.
Fuck it. Rather than give you a huge list of everything that’s changed, just check back for more details in the days ahead.
